LimeLight Audio is a patented innovation with a
Registered Trademark, and has been
manufactured by our family owned company doing
business in Illinois since 1987.
After a period or research in the mid 1990's, the first
speaker lamp model began to take shape. The first
finished model suitable for marketing is shown at
right. It took three years to obtain a U.S. Utility Patent
on the product. The Patent was issued November
1999.
Registered Trademark, and has been
manufactured by our family owned company doing
business in Illinois since 1987.
After a period or research in the mid 1990's, the first
speaker lamp model began to take shape. The first

While in the prototype stages, the product won a
'Best Potential Product' award at the 2004
Electronic Retailing Association trade show held in
Las Vegas.
Since it's formal introduction at the 2006 CEDIA
show held in Denver, Colorado, the product was
chosen as one of the TOP 5 PRODUCT PICKS:

What are the shipping weights? A. Each enclosure packaged weighs approx. 30 lbs. The lampshades are shipped in a separate over-sized carton. |
Q. How do they work? A. The tweeter and ports face up, and the woofer faces down at each end of the enclosure, and the sound is reflected off cones and redirected horizontally in a 360 degree pattern. Q. Can they be used for stereo? A. Absolutely. Q. Will they work with home theater systems? A. Yes. Q. Are they available in wireless versions? A. Wireless version coming soon. Q. What is the sound quality? A. Similar to high-end bookshelf speakers. Q. Do you have a warranty? A. Yes. Q. Aren't the enclosures too small to produce good bass? A.
